Jay Edge, B.A .(hons), BSc Ag. (hons), PhD (hons)

Jay, son of Gerrid's Lad and Ginger Sue, came to the farm as any other foal. Weak, he struggled to get to his feet and he staggered over to his mother. Little did we know what nature had wrought upon us.

Right from the get go, Jay showed a twinkle in his eye of a promise. Quickly he surpassed his herd mates. Unbeknownst to us, the dog had taught Jay to read. Of course, we never knew the dog could read but hey that's another story.

Anyway, little Edge was a bit more curious, a bit more attentive and a bit more of everything. Like any other youngster, Jay had a thirst for knowledge. After we noticed him listening to radio, I decided to experiment a bit and bought audio learning tapes and let them run in the barn. I tried listening to some of them but its not really my cup of tea.

Anyways, we are so proud of Jay and the help he gives to the good folks over at Rooneys and all the friends of equistation.
