Grounding & Fencers:

AC powered low impedance style fencer is recommended. Solar 12 and 6 volt fencers can be used for areas under 5 acres. At least 3 ground rods, 6’ long with brass ground clamps are needed

Electrical Connections:

Safe Fence ElectricUse only R-28 High Voltage wire when making an electrical connection to maximize the fencers ability. Connect R-28 wire at the top rail to allow you to disconnect lower strands if overgrown weeds, grasses or drifting snow reduce fence line power.

Installation:

Do not place rods within 50’ of buried water lines, utilities, phone lines or metal stock tanks. Instructions included with each order. Always follow fencer manufacturer instructions, as well as Safe Fence instructions.
